Tutor Guide
Teaching About Voting with the Easy Voter Guide is a 6-page step-by-step lesson plan designed for adult literacy tutors. Centered around Voting is as easy as 1-2-3 and the Easy Voter Guide, this resource helps tutors engage students in dialogue about the issues while teaching about the voting process and what's on the ballot.
How to Vote Workbook
Download the How to Vote Workbook, produced by the Easy Voter Guide Project and written by adult literacy students for their peers. This 16-page workbook takes the Voting is as easy as 1-2-3 approach and turns it into a learning activity. The workbook includes photos and easy-to-follow information about the voting process, along with activities to promote dialogue about the issues.
Voting Equipment
There are many types of voting equipment used around the state. Encourage people to learn about the voting system they will use before Election Day. That way, it will be easier when they get to the polling place.
