Ask learners to attend an open house or walk through a model home in their area. You could also tape a real estate television show and show it in class. Have learners complete the checklist on this page for each house they see. Tell the learners to use the space at the bottom of the form to write notes about additional information. Have learners talk about the homes they have visited or have seen on the videotape by referring to their checklists.
