Ask learners to read the house descriptions from the shoppers’ guide. Ask them to keep in mind their own housing preferences and to choose the house they would most like. Have them write a list of questions they would like to ask the owners. These questions may address a range of interests and concerns, such as information about the condition of the house, size of the yard, and distinguishing features of the neighborhood.
