Grammar review
When you review the use of for and since with the present perfect, mention that since is usually followed by a specific time in the past — since Monday or since last December. Review the structure by asking learners “Where do you work?” and “How long have you worked there?” Finally, have learners complete the Grammar review exercise using for or since.

Writing
Point out to learners that a job history is necessary whenever they apply for a new job, not only when applying for a loan. Ask them to write their own job histories on the form provided on this page. Remind them to begin with their most recent job and work backward in time. They may want to refer to Buonlap’s history.
