Filling in your own job history
1. Make several copies of the blank form on page 13 of the student workbook. Have students practice filling out the forms as many times as they need to do it correctly. Make sure both the math and the spelling are correct. You may want to have additional short practice sessions in future lessons. Emphasize that this piece of paper could be the first communication a
person has with a prospective lender. A good impression is necessary.

2. You may also want to put the form on page 13 on an overhead transparency. Fill in the application with several “mistakes.” Ask students to find and correct the errors.
