Grammar review
The Grammar review section is meant to be a review of material that has already been taught. Review question formation with the class. Then have learners look at the list from Tran’s notebook. Ask them to form questions to ask the former owner. Have them follow the examples given in their text.

Answers will vary, but some may begin with
expressions such as:

Does the house have ______________?

Could you show me ______________?

Where is ______________?

What does ______________?

How should I ______________?

How often does ______________?

Grammar review — question formation

Tran working on a new house checklist

The Nguyens are going to close on their house tomorrow. Tran Nyugen and his wife, Thuy, are meeting the former owner and the real estate agent to walk through their new home. They have made a list of things that they want to know about their new home.

Look at the list below. These are the notes that Tran made. How would you ask the former owner for information? Use the items on the list to form questions. For example, “fuse or circuit breaker box” = “Do you have a fuse box or a circuit breaker box? Could you show me the circuit breaker box?” You may have several questions for each item.
