Talk about it
Assign learners to groups and ask them to discuss the questions. Have groups report their answers to the class. Discuss pros and cons of keeping money at home. For questions 3 and 4, allow a wide number of responses from the learners.

Vocabulary
Ask the class to read and practice the vocabulary. Then ask them to match the words to the definitions.

Assign some learners or small groups of learners
to do some investigating. Have them call some real estate agents and mortgage lenders to see what fees and closing costs include in their region of the United States.
