Unit 4 : Lesson 1: Protecting and maintaining your home

Thinking through writing Printer

When you move into your new home, it’s a good idea to write down a list of emergency phone numbers as soon as possible. Keep it right next to your telephone. The emergency phone list below gives you an example. Fill in the list with your own emergency numbers. Imagine you discover a major gas leak in your home. Who would you call? Remember that a phone call to report a gas leak or fire should be made from a neighbor’s home or public phone.
