Our Stories
Hi my name is Neil and my story is I was about 38 and I had no money saved had a problem with alcohol.
I went to some 12 step programs and I have stayed sober ever since. I had a hard physical job and I did not know if I could do this work when I got older. I had problems with spelling and reading. A friend told me about this book by Napoleon Hill and the tape narration by Earl Nightingale. I listened to the tape and it became my coach.
It said I had to change my attitude. I used to do just enough work to get by and then I changed. I always did more then I was expected. That’s what I learned from the tape.
By not drinking my health got better and I felt better about myself. I started to save money. I worked three jobs in massage and physical therapy. I saved a lot of money found a broker and invested in some funds. I stuck to my goals and strived to retire at fifty. I kept working and saving and was able to retire at 48. Whatever you do, be the best at it and associate with people who are the best in your field. That’s what I learned from the tape and the book Think And Grow Rich and it worked for me.
