REMARKS: Arrived Palmer Station 1030 LT today. Only a couple of difficult
spots through the ice, which we entered at 0630 at the South end of the
Neumeyer Channel. The pack ice has spread considerably here and we had
some good stretches of open water. Cargo operations mostly completed today,
more tomorrow and PAX turnover on Wednesday 11/7. EDT Palmer Station is
0900 on 11/8. ETA Copa will then be 0900 on 11/9, and a rough ETA for
Punta Arenas is 11/13 (very dependent on conditions in the Drake!).
Regards,
Steve/Peg
