Happy New Year from Punta Arenas, Chile. We spent part of the day in the warehouse on the pier. We were getting our Extreme Weather Clothing (EWC). This is the clothing we will take to Antarctica. We have to try it on to make sure that it fits. After all, the ship won't return to port just to replace boots that are too small! At one point we had five layers of clothing on, all at once!

Alejandro gave me a duffle bag filled with Extreme Weather Clothing. I will return the clothes and bag to him when I come back from Antarctica.	Here we are after having tried on all our Extreme Weather Clothing.
