5 Years

This is how I grow:
Most 5 year olds are calmer than they were as 4 year olds. Five’s are easy going and feel good about themselves. They like to help and they love praise. Some 5½ year olds go through a rebellious time. They can become slow and clumsy. Some 5½’s have trouble getting along with others. They may take things that belong to others and lie about it. Try to stay calm and help your child. Be with her when she has to return things. She is just learning about right and wrong.

This is how I learn:
Five year olds love to be read to and talked to. They like learning new facts. Five year olds want to feel grown up and are eager to learn math and reading skills. They still have short attention spans. Their learning needs to be fun and creative.
