2 Years

This is how I grow:
People often say that children at this age are in their “terrible two’s.” The two and a half year old can be more difficult than an early two year old. Your two year old won’t be so terrible if you can match what you expect from him with what he really can do. Two year olds have short attention spands. For example: don’t expect your two year old to sit and listen to a whole astory. Let her turn the pages when you share a book. Don’t worry about reading every word.

This is how I learn:
Play is important to two year olds. It is their work. Play is how they learn to be social, to be independent, and to concentrate. Children have different ways of playing. Some children are very active, others play quietly. Observe how your child plays. This will help you understand how he learns.
