WEATHER FORECASTING ON THE WEB

Objectives: Given a situation that is affected by the weather, the learner will

  1. navigate between and within websites;
  2. distinguish between general and specific information;
  3. solve a particular problem.

Description of Activity:

Learners are given a problem to solve. Step-by-step-, learners use various websites to solve the problem. Learners will visit a weather site, get the state forecast, look at regional radar, look at offshore data, observe road conditions using road cameras, access local radar, and compare with visual observations.
