Literacy: Adult Learners’ Perspectives premiered in 2004 before an audience of nearly 500 celebrating the 20th anniversary of California Library Literacy Services. In the making of this documentary, the goal was to identify adult learners whose stories were inspiring and who were willing to share their stories with the world. Seventeen adult learners were nominated by local libraries throughout California to be considered for this film.
