Adult Basic Education (ABE) in Idaho exists to provide adults with the basic skills necessary for functioning more effectively in society.

Please follow the links to each of the topics for complete information on the topic. ABE in Idaho has worked with a wide variety of agency and institutional partners, as well as businesses. Under the Workforce Investment Act, ABE's role in workforce development is important and ABE is represented on the Workforce Investment Board and the Regional Collaborative One-Stop Teams. Participation and membership in other literacy organizations provides other opportunities for advancing literacy efforts.
