DELIVERY SYSTEM

The State of Idaho uses a double-tiered system to deliver ABE services throughout the state. Each of the regional post-secondary Institutions houses a learning center that has responsibility for its geographical service region. The local programs provide direct student instruction in basic skills, English as a Second Language, GED preparation, and a variety of life skills. Each local center is mandated to coordinate with other agencies and local employers in serving undereducated adults. Smaller communities are served by over 60 area outreach sites.
