Brainstorming is a free form process that taps into the creative potential of a group through the association of ideas. It's like hitting two or three pool balls consecutively. One idea stimulates another spontaneously.

Brainstorming procedures:

• List all ideas
• Do not judge or evaluate ideas at the time
• Do not discuss ideas
• Welcome "Blue Sky" ideas
• Include repeated ideas
• Encourage quantity
• Allow enough time
