Your toolbox
Many learners in the class will be familiar with these tools. Help them learn the names in English and how to describe the function of each. Ask each learner to write a functional definition of one tool.

Pair learners or place in small groups. Have one
partner or group member describe a tool, while the others guess which one it is. If desired, play a game
of “twenty questions” with the tools.
