Floor plan
In your opinion, are the rooms in this
house large or small? Use a tape measure to find out the
size of your classroom. Draw a floor plan of your classroom
or school building.
Find a partner...
Draw a floor plan of your dream house.
Be sure to include doors, windows, and major appliances.
Next, work with a partner for the following activity.
Partner A: Do not show your floor
plan to Partner B. Describe what you have drawn.
Partner B: Draw the floor plan
that Partner A describes. When you are finished, compare
your floor plan with the dream house that Partner A drew.
