Each other day in our life is so different. Sometimes
this is good, but often this is a difficult test. There
are many ups and downs.
Existence in a new and different country is full of
hard, frustrating and confusing situations. This is even
more difficult when you can't use English as well as your
native language to describe your thoughts and senses. You
become helpless.
I want to say "thanks a lot" to the people, who are
working at "Project Read" in the Menlo Park library.
There is an incredible environment of understanding,
friendship and helpfulness. At any time you can bring all
of your questions to Martin, Jay or Gloria and they are
always willing to help you. They show you new programs in
the studying of English grammar, correct your
pronunciation and teach how to use computer programs.
Also, I want to mark my tutor Jeanine, who has what it
takes for teaching English. We have been meeting together
in the café "Borrone" in Menlo Park and speak
about life, literature, art and movies.
Understanding, as a good teacher, my personality,
Jeanine makes our meetings - lessons always various.
She introduces me not only to the grammar but also in
the routes of the phrases, idioms and words. Jeanine
gives me the "tools" to help me remember words better.
Every meeting looks as some kind of creative process
of linguistic, sentence structure, figurative language.
I began to understand other people much better and
developed my speaking skills.
Meetings with another people isn't stressful for me
anymore. I began enjoying the meaning and music of
language.
Thank you to all my teachers in "Project Read" for
introducing me to the new and more comfortable stage in
my life. I am very appreciate your help.
