Henry Cisneros
By M.E.M.
Henry Cisneros, a Hispanic-American politician, was
born in San Antonio Texas. Henry started his career at a
very young age. Henry is well known in the Hispanic
community as one of the most influential people who were
in the first four years of the Clinton Administration.
Henry Cisneros had a long career of achievements,
personally and politically. One of his biggest
achievements was becoming Mayor of San Antonio, Texas,
one of the largest cities in the United States. Also
Henry was appointed to Secretary of Housing and Urban
Development. He served in this position four years. Henry
is a good role model for our next generation of
Hispanic-Americans who would like to become politicians.
Henry's grandfather was the one who inspired him to
become a politician. His grandfather wanted to let people
know that Hispanics have a place in this country too. And
he always told Henry that with dedication and hard work,
he would achieve his dreams.
I admire Henry Cisneros for all his accomplishments
and his success in politics as well as for all the good
things he did for the Hispanic community. I hope some day
a lot ot Hispanics follow in Henry's footsteps. We all
should be proud of Henry Cisneros.
