This web-based training project from Florida is designed to help educators understand issues surrounding assessment, placement, and instruction of adult ESOL. This is a self-paced program designed as a 15-hour inservice course with part of the training on the web and the remainder in your own classroom or school.

Developed by the Los Angeles Unified School District, this adult education lesson planning program includes: The Stages of Lesson Planning, A Sample Lesson Plan, and Tools for Lesson Planning.

ESL Start-Up Kit
This start-up kit has been compiled to help teachers new to ESL instruction or new to ESL instruction in the ABE setting.

Lesson Plan Builder
This is a free, online template developed by OTAN where a teacher can create lesson plans and save them. Uses a linear model, linked to CASAS and SCANS competencies. Lesson plans can be saved to one's own computer or shared in an upcoming searchable online database of lesson plans.
