Tom Mueller
Collection Developer

Tom Mueller was the ESL Coordinator at Laubach Literacy Action (now ProLiteracy America) from 1985 - 2003. He has an MA in TESL from the University of Texas at Austin as well as an MA in Speech Communication (Audiology) from the SUNY-Buffalo. Mueller has conducted numerous workshops and consulted with local literacy programs around the United States to train volunteer ESL tutors/teachers and tutor trainers and improve the ESL services of local programs. He is the developer of ESL Training by Design, produced by New Readers Press/Laubach Literacy Action. Mueller is also the primary author of Teaching Adults: An ESL Resource Book, one of the components of the Training by Design program.
