Charismatic, bi-lingual,
ELLI Grant Coordinator, Paul Boyd, interacts well with the kids and can
hold the attention of these 4th graders while reading Mama
Do You Love Me? In prior weeks, he read aloud from Harry Potter but found
picture books more successful in holding the attention of the various
ages represented in the room.

after-school program is something of a one-room schoolhouse. Though the
program targets 3rd - 6th graders at three elementary
schools, parents are encouraged to attend and to bring along younger siblings.
