Literacy Resource Center-Denver/Metro and State Wide
Host agency: Colorado Department of Education, Center for
At-Risk Education - Family and Adult Literacy.
Serves: Denver metro and surrounding area, and state wide.
Special interest/focus areas: current issues in adult/family
literacy, reference and research. Central contact point for information
on the State Literacy Resource Center program.
Northern
Colorado Literacy Resource Center - Longmont
Host agency: St. Vrain Valley Adult Education.
Serves: northern, northeastern and eastern plains (excluding
Denver Metro area).
Special interest/focus areas: English as a second language,
professional development/teacher training, 0-4 level reading.
Southern
Colorado Literacy Resource Center - Trinidad
Host agency: Trinidad State Junior College, Adult Education
Services.
Serves: southern Colorado including the San Luis Valley.
Special interest/focus areas: family literacy, workplace
literacy/workforce education.
Four Corners
Resource Center - Cortez
Host agency: Southwest BOCES
Serves: Four Corners region, western Colorado and mountain
areas, and state wide
