No More Eye Charts?

II. Professor Josef Bille was the inventor.

A. He was a physics professor in Germany.
B. Bille pioneered it twenty-five years ago.
C. He was at the University of Heidelberg.
D. The machine was to counter telescopic distortion.

III. How the Visx machine operates.

A. Light beams are reflected off the retina.
B. Then the beams are bent and show abnormalities.
C. The results show how much eye correction is needed.

A. He is an ophthalmologist in San Francisco.
