A. He was 85 years old in February 1998.
B. He spent 6 days at Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley, CA.

IV. Pain management

A. The doctor said he used the usual pain medication.
B. The family didn’t ask for more medication
C. The family trusted that the doctor knew what he was doing.

V. California has limits on amount of money to be awarded.
