Free Online Tutor Training Lessons
The Verizon Foundation has made more than 20 lessons for volunteer tutors available on its Thinkfinity web site. Course topics range from developing reading fluency to family literacy, and from citizenship to overcoming fear of writing.
These courses are provided at no change. To view the selections and enroll in courses of interest, visit the Thinkfinity web site and select “Free Online Courses” from the menu options on the home page: http://literacynetwork.verizon.org
