Although the beginning of the year is when we most commonly set personal life goals, we can choose to change a habit or start something new on any day of the year. New tools are available online to help track progress toward goals. Using them is an opportunity for computer practice in addition to being a way to make progress toward a goal.

If using the web is not practical due to computer access or other factors, you and your learner can set up a method that is easier for him or her to use to track progress. This could be using pen and paper or a computer document or spreadsheet. These methods would also afford valuable practice.
