Primetime News for Learners
Western/Pacific LINCS (part of the National Institute for Literacy's LINCS Project), and Literacyworks, in partnership with CNN and CBS 5, has developed an online site for learners utilizing current news stories.
News stories are featured in their full length, as well as in abridged and outline forms. Interactive activities test comprehension and promote learning.
