A new project developed here in the San Francisco Bay Area is Project Money, a financial literacy curriculum designed in cooperation with a team of adult literacy students. Funded by a federal LSTA (Library Services and Technology Grant), Project Money aims to be a friendly introduction to banking and money management for learners.
Your learner may have asked you about opening a checking account or how to read a bank statement, for example. Project Money gives you the tools to answer these questions and more, and to give learners the tools they need to gain some confidence.
