Want to add a new activity to your tutoring sessions? How about having a newspaper scavenger hunt. Any paper will do, and you can look for things like:
- today's date
- a current event that is important to the learner
- the weather
- a person the learner would like to meet
- a place the learner would like to visit
- a game the learner would like to watch or play
- a movie the learner would like to see
- a job the learner would like to have
- a new word the learner would like to know
Many learners have the goal of reading the newspaper. Here's a fun way to work on that skill.
