Cell Phones for Literacy

BALit and its member programs are collecting cell phones that you, your friends, family, colleagues or workplace no longer need or are using. When you upgrade to a new phone and donate your old phone (with charger and batteries) to us, we receive a donation that will support adult literacy throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and in your community.

All phones are accepted. Phones that cannot be refurbished and reused will be recycled for their component parts according to EPA standards. Keep toxic materials out of our landfills, while building stronger homes, neighborhoods and workplaces.
